2010 USAT Florida Region Youth Race Series
Mission Statement:
To establish a Florida Regional Youth Race program covering all geographical corners of the state. This program will provide youth triathletes ages 15 and under he opportunity to participate in coaches clinics and participate in a series of races in which will allow the youth triathletes to accumulate points based on placement in the series where the top boy and top girl finisher in each age group will be eligible to receive a grant to participate in USAT Youth Nationals in San Diego California on August 8th, 2010.
Series Info:
USAT Florida Region youth triathletes will have the opportunity to participate in a 3 race series across the region. At each race, points will be assigned based upon the youth triathlete’s placement in their age group. At the conclusion of the series, the highest points earners, both boy and girl in each age group (age groups listed below) will be eligible to receive a grant of $100.00 to be used towards their expenses for participating at the USAT Youth National Championship event in San Diego California on August 8th. The grant will be provided upon proof of the athlete’s participation in the National Championship event.
The 3 races that are part of the 2010 USAT Florida Region Youth Race Series are:
· Saturday, March 27, 2010 – Great Clermont Trikidz Triathlon and Super Sprint - Clermont
· Saturday, May 1, 2010 – The First Coast Triathlon – Jacksonville
· Saturday, May 22 – 25th Annual Madeira Beach Mini Triathlon – Madeira Beach
